City of Glasgow

We spent about a week on Glasgow. As you can see in the bottom photo, rain was a staple in Glasgow for a large part of our time there. A Post-Industrial City, with plenty of charm and impressive museums to see. The best known is the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum which one could easily spend two weeks seeing all the exhibits. There was also the impressive Riverside Museum, which is an absolutely great place to take children.

For me, one of the most interesting aspects of Glasgow is its legacy of Shipbuilding in the area known as the Clydebank. Many famous ships were built here at the John Brown Shipyard.
